Kaisheng New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Kaisheng New Energy), affiliated to Kaisheng Technology Group Co., Ltd. under China Building Materials Group, was founded in 1956. It is the birthplace of "Luoyang Float Glass Process", one of the three largest float glass processes in the world. It has a State Key Laboratory of new float glass technology and a national enterprise technology center. In 1992, it founded "Luoyang Glass Co., Ltd.". On July 8, 1994, the company's H shares were listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code: 01108). On October 31, 1995, the company's A-shares were listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 600876). On February 16, 2023, it was renamed Kaisheng New Energy Co., Ltd. (referred to as Kaisheng New Energy) and is an A+H dual listed company. The company has gone through an innovative transformation from traditional flat glass to ultra-thin electronic glass, and from ultra-thin electronic glass to solar photovoltaic glass. It has multiple independent intellectual property rights and core technologies, and is mainly engaged in the production, sales, and technical services of new glass materials such as new energy glass. It can mass produce 1.4-6mm new energy glass. The company has successively won the "Luoyang Float Glass Technology" Gold Invention Award, the highest national float glass quality award - "Silver Award", China's "Famous Trademark", and twice won the "National Science and Technology Progress First Prize".
The company has eight production bases, with assets exceeding 10 billion yuan and annual revenue exceeding 6 billion yuan.
The production bases are located in six provinces and eight cities in Henan, Anhui, Jiangsu, Hebei, Sichuan, and Fujian, including China National Building Materials (Luoyang) New Energy Co., Ltd., China National Building Materials (Hefei) New Energy Co., Ltd., China National Building Materials Tongcheng New Energy Materials Co., Ltd., China National Building Materials (Yixing) New Energy Co., Ltd., Qinhuangdao North Glass Co., Ltd., Kaisheng (Zigong) New Energy Co., Ltd., Kaisheng (Zhangzhou) New Energy Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Kaisheng New Materials Co., Ltd.
Through overall design, digital modeling, and the use of integration technology based on industrial field perception data, each production base systematically integrates intelligent equipment in various stages of the process flow, such as technology, manufacturing, and testing, and builds an intelligent factory management platform that integrates workshop manufacturing execution system (MES), enterprise resource planning system (ERP), advanced scheduling system (APS), and intelligent scheduling center.
The company has always adhered to technological innovation, forming a group of industry-leading new technologies, products, and processes, enhancing the core competitiveness and development potential of the enterprise. At present, Luobo Group has 282 patents, including 72 invention patents and 210 utility model patents; Kaisheng Xinneng has 221 patents, including 33 invention patents and 188 utility model patents. The company has also participated in the drafting and revision of multiple national (industry) standards and specifications, with multiple scientific research achievements and standards at the forefront of industry technology. The production process technology of ultra-thin photovoltaic glass is leading in the industry.
